Privacy Policy
The organisers of ISCEVENT 2026 (“we”, “our”, or “the organisers”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Last updated: December 2025
1. Data We Collect
When registering for the conference, we collect:
- First name and surname
- Company (optional)
- Contact telephone number
- Email address
- Partner name (optional)
- Food allergies / dietary requirements (optional)
- Your ticket selection
- Attendance choices (welcome reception, conference day, gala dinner, accompanying program)
We also receive confirmation information from our payment provider, Stripe, but we do not see or store your card details.
Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the event and the Organisers may publish these
for non-commercial purposes on their websites, publications, and digital presentations. Photographs
and video recordings may include pictures of the Participants. By attending the event, Participants
give their express consent to the use of such photographs for the said purposes.

2. How Your Data Is Used
Your data is used only for:
- Managing your event registration
- Processing your payment securely
- Sending confirmation emails & event communications
- Ensuring dietary and attendance preferences are respected
We do not share your details with third parties except for essential event administration (e.g., Stripe for payment processing).
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Under GDPR, our lawful bases are:
- Article 6(1)(b) – Performance of a contract (your event registration)
- Article 6(1)(c) – Legal compliance (financial regulations)
- Article 6(1)(a) – Consent (optional information such as dietary requirements)
4. Data Storage & Protection
Your data is stored securely using encrypted infrastructure and modern access controls. It is retained only as long as necessary for event operation and legal compliance.

Terms & Conditions
By registering for and attending the International Softwood Conference Dublin 2026, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Registration & Payment
Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. The organisers do not store or process payment card details.
2. Cancellation Policy
Registration can only be cancelled until 31st August 2026, which will incur an administrative fee of €95. If the registration is cancelled after this date, any fees will not be refunded.
3. Changing a Participant's Name
Changing a registered participant’s name is possible up to 1st Oct 2026. Changes after that are subject to a €95 administrative fee.
4. Event Changes
The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the Event programme, speakers, venue, schedule, or format where necessary.
5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The content presented at the International Softwood Conference Dublin 2026 is provided solely for general informational purposes and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, commercial or technical advice. Participants remain solely responsible for any decisions, actions or business arrangements undertaken on the basis of information obtained during or in connection with the event. To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, the organisers disclaim any liability for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss, damage, injury, cost or expense arising out of or in connection with participation in the event, reliance on any information presented, or any cancellation, modification or disruption of the event. Unless expressly stated otherwise, ticket prices are exclusive of any applicable value added tax (VAT), sales taxes or similar charges. Participants remain solely responsible for the payment and declaration of any taxes, duties or fiscal obligations applicable under their respective national jurisdictions.
6. Force Majeure
The organisers shall not be responsible for delay, cancellation, or disruption caused by events beyond their reasonable control.
7. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
