By Taxi
Taxis are readily available outside the arrivals area at Dublin Airport. Both The Grand Hotel Malahide and Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links are approximately 10–15 minutes away by taxi. All taxis in Dublin are metered, and fares may vary depending on time of day and traffic.
Dublin Airport Taxi Rank Location
Taking a taxi from the taxi rank is the most convenient way to reach the venue, and in Ireland, taxi rates are generally the same whether you take a taxi from a rank / street or book one through an app.
There are two official ranks:
Terminal 1 Taxi Rank
Directly outside the arrivals exit doors. Walk straight out, and you’ll see the queue area
marked by signs and barriers.
Terminal 2 Taxi Rank
Located on the arrivals level, follow the taxi symbols on the floor or overhead signs.
It’s right outside the main exit doors.
Both ranks are supervised by airport staff during busy hours to make sure the queue moves
smoothly and that passengers get the next available taxi quickly.
If you’re travelling with a group or have extra luggage, look out for an
8-seater taxi
or a larger vehicle.
